 | Under the concept of DMP* Diabetes 2 we offer every three months extensive check-ups containing lab tests, clinical examination and individual consultancy. Furthermore we organize courses for diabetic in our praxis dealing with nutrition, medication, insulin-treatment, exercise, sugar-self-control and weight management. In addition we collaborate with the “Abteilung Ernährungsmedizin des Klinikums rechts der Isar“ (department of nutrition medicine) www.ernaehrungsmedizin-tum.de, as well as the “Zentrum für naturheilkundliche Forschung drs Klinikums rechts der Isar” (center of naturopatic research) www.ltz-muenchen.de/~ZentrumfuerNaturheilkunde. Participants of DMP are exempt from paying 10€ praxis charge. *DMP means a system of care and documentation designed for a chronic illness, in which the doctor in charge offers every three months examinations and, if necessary, additional training. The goal is to broaden the patient’s competence to get his illneness under control (empowerment).
